"I have loved working with animals all my life. Years into my management career, I made the choice to pursue my passion for dog training instead. I have seen my own dogs grow in their skills as I built mine alongside them. I have never felt more fulfilled.

Like many others, I began in balanced training, using both rewards & corrections to guide the dogs I worked with. While some have luck with this, I have witnessed too many negative side-effects of this methodology & its equipment being used incorrectly to continue relying on it. I have since re-trained both dogs to come by verbal cue using only rewards. Their recall is reliable & our bond has never been stronger.

Since transitioning to the positive reinforcement (R+) training style, I have worked through a wide variety of cases, finding success in each one. I have taught dogs everything from basic social skills to how to share a home with siblings (often animals of a different species altogether). I have supported hundreds of dogs & their owners in growth.

My favorite part of the work has always been seeing the relationship between dogs & their people thrive. At the training center, my goal is to share my knowledge with like-minded owners, trainers, & fellow dog-lovers. I am looking to support the development of everyone involved in a well-managed, relaxed environment - all while giving your dogs the best of care."
